    I have been investigating vegetarianism and veganism as a healthier alternative lifestyle for some time, so I was happy to buy the book, especially with the back story (Supersize Me) attached. Morgan Spurlock features in this book, but doesn't star in is. A good thing. It is really the story of Alex Jamieson and how she found the road to health. I have tried some of the recipes - the baked goods are particularly good. However, it's hard to be a vegan in every day life, with kids, jobs, rushing to the store. It all takes so much more time than most working families have. But this is not the fault of the book. I have adopted several recipes into our family menu.

    I enjoyed this book. It was very informative and gave great links to websites to follow up on. Alex Jamieson also writes very well and makes it easy to understand. She doesn't use alot of medical terms to confuse you she just tells it like it is. I really enjoyed her writing.
